Solari Energy We Are Experts On Commercial Systems
As a business owner or manager there has never been a better time to start controlling your utility expenses. A PV system for your business will not only help secure rising energy costs, but can better profitability and show you as a leader in the community. A solar investment is leveraged by incentives from both your utility company but also the federal government.
The Stimulus Act And Solar
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of February 2009 made a major improvement in the solar tax credit program for commercial installations. The investment Tax credit (ITC) of 30% of the total cost of the installation remains unchanged for the next seven years. But now, a business owner can elect to receive a cash payment from the Department of Treasury in lieu of the ITC. This makes sense to a taxpayer who may happen to be carrying losses or for other reasons if you would prefer to receive a cash payment rather that a reduction in taxes. This cash grant arrives from the Treasury Dept. usually within 60 days after your system is placed online with the net meter installed. Information on the Treasury Department payments can be found on the Department of Treasury's web site. If you don't care to read through the entire site we can get you the information.
Just remember, if you are able to take advantage of the ITC itself, the possibility exists that you can monetize the incentive even sooner by withholding the full amount of your ITC from your next quarterly tax payment. Please seek the guidance from your tax attorney or accountant with all tax matters.
Impressive Return On Investment
Impressive ROI with the added rich incentives and leveraged investment potential a typical commercial system can break even in a very short period of time. Typically well under 4 years after taxes, and sometimes in 2 or less. A PV system is a profitable investment that will continue providing free electricity for years, frequently with an annualized return on investment of 20% or more over the warranted 25 year life of the panels. Saving you anywhere from hundreds to thousands of dollars a year on your electric bills.
Utility Rebates
Utility rebates are still available for commercial installations but may have some restrictions depending on the size of the installation. Please check with Solari Energy for the current incentives offered.
Utility Rates
Your return on investment is directly effected by the rates you pay for electricity. This is because Colorado law requires the utility to buy your solar production at the same rate they charge you per kilowatt hour. Peak2Peak Solar will analyze your billing history to optimize your ROI.
Marketing Value
Companies are increasingly being held to a higher standard when it comes to green-friendly. Going solar is a very cost effective way to establish your green credentials to your customer base.
Adding It All Up
Solari Energy has a number of commercial applications lets see if one works for you! If you have a flat roof, we have mounting systems which require no penetrations into the roof, so long as we have good solar access we can have your system up and running in a short period of time.
